This upgrade of the Doncaster Shopping Centre operated for 18 months, and we supplied just over 2000T of reinforcement steel for Caelli. The job had a large footprint with six cranes operating on site, so ensuring the correct reinforcing steel for the right area was loaded accordingly was a massive undertaking. We had several different areas on each delivery, so colour coding tags and organising loads was very important as there were numerous drop points on site to be met.

We had a scheduler working onsite for the project which was scheduling directly into our system. This saved a lot of time for the client as changes to how the project was to be built and formed was a daily occurrence; therefore this direct access to the scheduler produced a quick turnaround for supply.
